We fully understand that the decision to send your student abroad is a big one, and comes with many questions and concerns. We want to assure you that we are ready to support you fully as your student gets ready for their departure, as well as throughout their time with us here at the Accademia dell’Arte.
We believe that study abroad is an invaluable opportunity for your child to grow as a student, an artist, and an individual, and we want to do everything we can to help you know exactly what you as a parent can expect along the way.
On our website you can find answers regarding finances, health and safety, packing, travel, and more!
Information: If you need further information or you have specific questions about our programs please contact:
Monica Capacci, Director of Admissions and Student Services monica.capacci@dellarte.it
Safety Abroad: In the event of an emergency, our Student Life Coordinator and Guardian lives on-site and can be reached on our 24/7 emergency phone:
(011 39) 3926175651
To dial from within Italy, please omit the numbers in parentheses.
We recommend that prior to departure, you establish with your student a system of communication should an emergency occur, whether at home or in Italy. They should arrive on-site knowing how to reach you should they ever need to, and vice versa.
If you are U.S. Citizens you should also make sure they sign up for the Smart Traveler Enrolment Program https://step.state.gov/step/
In addition, we suggest parents, guardians and caretakers to apply for or renew their own passports in the event that they should need to join their child abroad for any reason.
