The core of the MFA training program will take place at the Accademia in Arezzo and studios in the city center. Arezzo is an ideal location that enables students to immerse themselves in the genuine culture of Italy undamaged by excessive tourism. The central location of Arezzo also allows students to easily explore other cultural centers of Italy: Rome, Florence, Siena, Bologna, Perugia, etc. The facilities are exceptional, with studios, computer labs, library, beautiful gardens and a full time administrative staff to assist students year-round.
Berliner Schule Für Schauspiel, Berlin (The Berlin Acting School)
Berlin is without a doubt one of the cultural capitals of Europe, where innovative young performers experiment with a variety of influences to make theatre vibrant and continually relevant. Living and training alongside young actors is a superb opportunity to deepen international understanding while expanding one's larger aesthetic repertoire.
The Berliner Schule, influenced by the Folkwang University, specializes in training actors in physical theatre through the use of masks. This segment is conceived as a period of intensive collective artistic creation centered around the use of original contemporary masks, culminating in public performances in the school's resident theatre.
FLIC Scuola di Circo, Torino (FLIC Circus School)
First year students will complete their training in Torino at FLIC Circus School. Housed in the premises of the Italian national gymnastic assosiation, the school has access to state of the art facilities and enjoys a national and international reputation for training performers in contemporary circus. Pedagogic Director Matteo Lo Prete was himself a former trainer of the Italian Olympic team and has conceived a rigorous program that still provides spacec for individual mentoring, leading up to a final presentation in the school's main space.
Torino is a thriving city in Northern Italy, boasting an elegant pedestrian city center with an impressive cultural and artistic heritage. At a stone's throw from the Lombardy Alps and the Ligurian Coast, it offers speedy rail connections to France and the rest of Europe.
Scuola d'Arte Drammatica Paolo Grassi, Milano
In the final module of the MFA program students will travel to Milano for a six week residence at the Paolo Grassi Scuola, where they will perform their final devised project under the direction of guest faculty. The school boasts magnificent facilities with no fewer than six rehearsal and dance studios, as well as two theatres. The school is well situated in close proximity to metro and bus lines within easy access of the centre of Milano, and is within walking distance of the most famous Milanese University, Bicocca.
Milano is a large city, second only to Rome, and is home to a number of important artistic institutions, including La Scala Opera House and the Piccolo Teatro.

The department of music and theatre at Mississippi University for Women offers comprehensive training in theatre, both theoretically and practically, and boasts a generous and well-equipped theatre that maintains high production values. Students are challenged both in the classical tradition and in contemporary practice. Headed by William Biddy, the departments is an active partner is assuring the acadeiuc and artistic vigor of the MFA program.
